This session will cover selected indications of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the occupational medicine physician. These will include carbon
monoxide poisoning, cyanide poisoning, hydrogen sulfide poisoning, traumatic crush injuries, compromised flaps from traumatic injuries, and diving related indications such as decompression sickness and gas embolus. We will cover an overview of the illness or injury and present the hyperbaric treatment indications for each condition. This session may be of particular interest to residents and recent graduates.
