Regenerative therapies have significantly impacted clinical periodontal
practice. This discussion will focus on the role of enamel matrix proteins in the
decision-making process facing the clinician. Advantages and limitations of this
regenerative approach will be discussed. Clinical situations involving recession,
intrabony defects and furcation treatments will be reviewed. Treatment
solutions will be explored through the presentation of numerous cases.
