What It’s About:
Falls are still the leading cause of death in residential construction, and this session will present a pictorial view of fall hazards on construction and remodeling projects – covering a wide variety of fall protection topics, including falls from roofs, ladders, scaffolds, lifts, same level and more. The speaker will provide you with a variety of scenarios that may hit a bit close to home – because you have done them yourself – but it will remind you of how to best work from heights to be OSHA compliant and safe.

Understand the the force that a six foot fall has on the body.
Recognize the importance of fall protection, and identify ways to prevent fall hazards from taking place on the job site.
Understand the training requirements for fall protection required by OSHA.
