08AAP-CE02: Mini Implants for Orthodontic Anchorage

This presentation will discuss how the practice of orthodontics will change significantly as mini-screws or micro-implants are introduced in the specialty training programs. They are now being used for temporary anchorage devices (TADs) in active orthodontic therapy. Recent increased use of TADs relates to their success rates and acceptance as reported in a variety of orthodontic situations.
