Immediate implant loading is well documented for many clinical situations. The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of the indications and techniques that are used to incorporate immediate loading into routine private practice. Complication avoidance and management, as well as contraindications to treatment, will also be discussed.

Recognize appropriate and inappropriate case types where immediate loading should be considered.
Understand various surgical and restorative techniques successfully used in immediate loading.
Learn common limitations and complications associated with immediate loading, including surgical, restorative and technological aspects.
