Including a comprehensive video, this presentation will describe in detail a
subepithelial connective tissue graft procedure in a step-by-step fashion, and
how the technique has evolved over the years. It will focus upon the application
of the subepithelial connective tissue graft procedure in all areas of the mouth
for gingival recession, cosmetic considerations, in preparation for restorative
procedures, root abrasion, root caries, gingival defects associated with implants
and deficient pontic ridge areas. These procedures will enhance and facilitate
the treatment of the restorative dentist, and strengthen the relationship
between them and the periodontal surgeon.
