Various techniques have been used to obtain a regeneration of periodontal
tissues and in the atrophy. From this consideration, research was started on
mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and pluripotent cells withdrawn from bone
marrow.With the approval of the Superior Institute of Health and the Ethics
Committee, a trial was started on humans. Preliminary results indicate that
clinically and radiographically, we can observe a significant bone regeneration
both in periodontal defects and in atrophy.
