Stem cell technology has become readily available for periodontal surgical
therapy around natural teeth and implant reconstructive procedures. This
presentation will review both the autogenous-derived stem cell applications
and allograft-derived stem cell options available to the periodontist. The
research to support the available technology will be discussed, along with
the specific grafting techniques that can be utilized to optimize the clinical
outcomes with stem cell grafts.
