This presentation introduces a novel, minimally invasive approach referred to
as “vestibular incision subperiosteal tunnel access” (VISTA). The procedure
entails an initial entry incision in the vestibule, followed by elevation of a
subperiosteal tunnel. VISTA allows for full visual access, while minimizing
surface incisions with potential sequelae of graft exposure due to disruption
of the vascular supply. This versatile technique has utility for both soft tissue
and bone augmentation treatment of isolated and extensive defects.
