This presentation will focus on current and new modalities for horizontal and vertical ridge and sinus augmentation, and its indications, results, and complications in patients with alveolar bone resorption and esthetic expectations. Evidence-based surgical procedures supporting bone grafting using GBR-procedures, Autografts, and bone fillers will be presented versus new procedure using cell mediators like rhBMP-2 and rhPDGF. In addition, soft tissue grafting and management will be discussed to increase predictability of the esthetic outcome of anterior implant restorations.

• Explain the optimal clinical treatment protocol for horizontal and vertical GBR grafting.
• Recognize limitations of these grafting procedures.
• Prevent and treat complications in grafting protocol.
