22AAP-IP3: Innovations in Periodontics: Rising Stars

Speakers: Eswar Kandaswamy, Kevin M. Byrd, I-Ching Wang

Translational research with direct application to patient care. The selected candidates will give a 15-minute presentation on a specific topic, followed by a five-minute Q&A period. Speakers are selected by a blind review of abstracts submitted to the AAP and will undergo a training session in presenting their material at a podium.

Educational Objectives:
• Gain knowledge of innovations and advances in clinical periodontics, research, or related subjects.         
• Describe a new advancement or translational research with direct application to patient care.
