Q: How do I find a specific session?
A: The most straightforward way to search for a session is to type the title or speaker name into the search bar located at the top right side of the website. You may also use the drop down menu at the top of the website to find a category or meeting that you are interested in browsing. Each meeting page has all the recorded sessions listed by title and sku, and once you find the meeting you are looking for, can browse the entire selection.
Q: Why don't I see Northwestern Mutual shows listed in the top menu and why can't I go to the Northwestern Mutual sessions product page?
A: Due to the strict compliance laws of Northwestern Mutual, only Northwestern Mutual employees and members are allowed to view and buy any sessions from the annual and regional meetings. To view and purchase sessions from any Northwestern Mutual meeting, you must register and/or login using your @nm.com email address. Once you have registered with an @nm.com username, verified the validity of the address by clicking the link in the email sent to you, and logged in using said email address, you will have access to the Northwestern Mutual area of the site. Q: Which format should I pick when purchasing my session (DVD, CD, MP3 Download, etc.)?
A: The format drop down menu gives you the options available for purchasing sessions. Here is a description of each one:
Q: How do I download my products?
A: Once you complete your purchase, go to the Downloadable Products area of your account by clicking on your username at the top of the screen, and choosing the Downloadable Products tab on the right hand side of your account area. All MP3 sessions that you purchased will be listed here, and can be downloaded to your computer by clicking the Download button. There is no limit on the amount of times you can download a session.
Q: Can I download my MP3s directly to my phone?
A: Some phones have the capability to download files using an internet browser, but iPhones do not have that ability. If you click on the download link using a phone that does not allow browser downloading, such as an iPhone, the session may start to play, but will not save to the phone. Since there is no limit to the amount of times you can download a session you purchase, you can easily download the session to a computer at another time, and copy the file over to your mobile device.
Q: How do I view my Online Library Subscription?
A: Once your order for the library is processed, you can find access to the sessions by going to the My Library area of our site. To find all active library subscriptions, click on your username at the top of the page, and then the My Library tab to the right of your account area. Once here, find the library you wish to enter, and click the Enter Library button to the right of it's name. Another tab will open in your browser; you can pick which session you want to view by clicking on a year listed to the left, and then the session title. The sessions are streaming, similar to Netflix, and there is no download option; you must always be connected to the internet or a cellular connection when streaming the content on your computer, phone, or tablet. If you have an older phone or tablet, you may be required to download a free app to stream the content, but you will be prompted to do so.
Q: Do you take foreign currency?
A: We only take United States Dollars as a form of currency. We do offer international ordering and shipment, and your credit card will be charged the exchange rate for USD. All prices are listed in USD on our webiste.
