Monday Session
Moderator: Steven P. Engebretson
Program Track: Implants
Dental implants are highly predictable, but still challenging in the aesthetic zone. Awareness of prosthetic requirements prior to, and during, surgery is key. Appropriate bone and soft tissue engineering enhance aesthetics, and provide long-lasting restorations
in harmony with the neighboring teeth. A threedimensional approach is the key factor for success.
Educational Objectives:
• Understand the need for augmentation procedures in various situations.
• Identify the different techniques and biological limits of augmentation procedures (bone and soft tissue).
• Create harmonic soft tissue margins, including nice papilla.
