What It’s About:
Capital markets have changed. Local banks are no longer interested or competitive in providing $5 to $50+ million loans to fund organic expansion, acquisitions and management buyouts. This session will explore the various types of institutions that are providing long-term capital, compare and contrast alternative capital sources, weigh the pros and cons of each and explore the related costs and timing. This session will further provide case studies and detail the steps a borrower must take in advance to prepare an information package that will resonate with the decision maker. A few of the alternative sources explored will include non-bank commercial, unitranche, mezzanine and varying equity options.
