According to recent data, between 2011 and 2012 there was an 82% increase in deaths from falls in the residential construction industry. Builders and trade contractors must have a firm understanding of how to keep workers safe; however, many are still unsure of the appropriate methods for doing so as outlined by the numerous and often confusing OSHA safety requirements and regulations.
