We are all relieved to see the painful constriction during the recession subsiding, however returned growth brings with it a whole new set of challenges for builders. For example, while customer satisfaction soared as volume decreased during the recession, higher volume and capacity problems are now making
it difficult to maintain that level of service. Builders that do not recognize these shifts will see quality, customer satisfaction, reputations and profits erode over time. This session will explore the five most noted areas of concern for 2014 as identified by a study of leading home building companies from across the U.S.,
including: acquiring land and lots, increasing hard cost outpacing sales, hiring and retaining staff, finding qualified trade labor and maintaining customer satisfaction as a result of higher volume. A panel of experts will discuss these challenges and show you proven strategies for overcoming them in a growing market.
