For a home builder, the keys to profitability are the efficient use of materials, labor and time. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a tool that facilitates the collection and sharing of information across the entire building life-cycle, which results in streamlined
processes, the effective delivery of homes and ultimately profit. Despite these benefits, most home builders aren’t aware of this tool or if they are, have yet to implement BIM. This session will outline the concept of BIM including the National BIM Standard-
US, highlight its many benefits and showcase the experiences of home builders who have already implemented BIM into their businesses.
