Collaborative treatment planning of complex cases that can benefit from periodontal care and/or implant placement is what makes collaborating with other dentists both challenging and fun. Using treated cases, four distinguished clinicians will discuss diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment execution and maintenance care within the contexts of a multi-disciplinary team-type approach to comprehensive oral care.
Educational Objectives:
Discuss the patient-centered benefits associated with collaborative diagnosis and treatment planning.
Describe the difficulties associated with joint treatment planning and suggested methods to counter them.
Learn how maintenance care can be organized in a shared environment so as to keep patients’ interests first.
