CBCT evaluations continue to become more common as part of implant
patient examinations. When combined with appropriate simulation methods,
whether laboratory-fabricated or digital, more precise and efficient cases can
be planned. Additionally, precise treatment strategies such as image guidance
and minimally invasive surgery, as well as prefabricated provisional
restorations, can be implemented. This course will explore anatomical,
diagnostic and therapeutic approaches that are currently, or soon-to-be,
available for implant dentistry.
