This year’s Dental Hygiene Symposium will provide attendees with the latest on the ADHA Standards for Clinical Dental Hygiene Practice. This course will reveal solutions to the challenges of providing safe, effective implant maintenance, and peri-implantitis treatment. Attendees will gain further insights into the science and clinical applications of periodontal disease classification with an interactive workshop designed to practice staging and grading in common clinical scenarios. At the conclusion of this program, a panel discussion will help address how to incorporate the periodontal and peri-implant disease classification into the dental hygiene curriculum and the real-life practice of dental hygiene, how industry is embracing and sharing communication about the new classification, and also provide attendees with a unique opportunity for Q&A.
