Restorations without adequate tooth structure can result in premature restoration loss, proving that necessary tooth structure is one of the most difficult procedures to perform. In addition, treatment planning for aesthetic cases can be challenging. Keys to success include understanding and developing predictable strategies.
Educational Objectives:
Evaluate the amount of tooth structure exposed for restorative dentistry, and decide on provisionalization timing.
Demonstrate the sequencing of restorative and surgical treatment for teeth and implants.
Provide techniques for crown lengthening and gingival augmentation.
