When it comes to risk management, being proactive is critical. In this session, you will learn how to implement the foundation for a risk management/loss control program and the processes to enhance the protections afforded by a general liability insurance policy. Implied and written warranty responsibilities will be discussed as well as claims that may arise after the initial warranty period, including the risk of tort actions. The session will also address a buyer's obligations of notice, the home builder's right to repair and how alternative dispute resolution methods may be used to create solutions and reduce cost.
