Program Track: Implants
Important factors for implant therapy in the esthetic zone include gingival form, appearance and volume around the implant, as well as optimal papillary form and healthy gingival color. Procedures that address both hard and soft tissue concerns are important to an ultimately successful esthetic result. This course will focus mainly on surgical manipulation of soft tissue around dental implants.
Educational Objectives:
• Gain an understanding of the relationship of soft tissue to implants, and the various techniques for soft tissue augmentation.
• Learn how to reconstruct papillary tissue between the natural tooth and implants, and between implants with hard and soft tissue augmentation.
