What It’s About:
We've grown accustomed to the idea that design-build means a builder who assists a customer in designing and building their home, but Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) goes far beyond this. IPD brings together a team, including trade contractors, engineers, architects, customers, interior designers and suppliers, to produce the best possible plans and specifications to meet the customer's desires while being as efficient as possible. This session will explain how to pull this group together, how to create communication platforms to accomplish the work, and show you real examples of cost savings and improved design resultant of using IPD.
What You'll Learn:
Learn how to save production cost by using IPD.
Learn how to coordinate all the players for an efficient process.
Learn how to obtain a more efficient and pleasing home design.
Learn how IPD's upfront efforts save hundreds of hours while building the home.
