What It’s About:
Modern kitchens and baths are being inspired by layers of materials, and as kitchens are opened up to adjacent spaces and bathrooms are growing in size, interior finishes, such as molding, trim and interior doors, play an increasingly important role. In this session, you will gain perspective on the emerging design preferences for these rooms and view examples of how to include focal points created with interior finish products to illustrate the importance of personalizing kitchens and baths. Designers will review the important design process steps that make the inclusion of interior finishes easy and profitable.

Learn about the business and design opportunities of specifying interior finishes during the conceptual stage of kitchen and bathroom planning.
Recognize the key planning criteria when combining interior finishes with other design elements.
Receive recommendations regarding the proper interior finish materials to select in various styled rooms.
Gain the ability to confidently detail and specify interior finish products, as well as cabinetry and other design materials.
