On Demand Session
Program Track: Periodontal Plastic and Soft Tissue Surgery
Soft tissue augmentation procedures have been widely used to enhance esthetic and treatment outcomes around natural dentition and dental implants. Rotated split vascularized pedicle connective tissue graft has been introduced to increase soft tissue volume, to augment keratinized tissue, to correct oro-antral fistula, and to manage implant complications. This course will introduce the biologic classifications of soft tissue graft, highlighting the needs of blood supply. The principles and techniques of rotating pedicle graft will be elaborated. Along with a series of case presentation, the course will also discuss an “ARK” principle for predictable pedicle flap/graft developed to address the fundamental factors affecting the outcome and demonstrate possible solutions to achieve predictable results.
