Speakers will address various topics, including the utilization of dental implants
to facilitate tooth movement by providing enhanced anchorage, as well as a
demonstration of how surgically altering the alveolar housing can markedly
increase the speed of orthodontic therapy. The challenges associated with
surgically managing the special problem of the unerupted maxillary canine will
be discussed, and an illustration of how orthodontic tooth movement can have
a positive effect on the regeneration of alveolar and soft tissue deficiencies and
defects will be presented.
