Surgical Approaches in the Treatment of Peri-Implantitis

Peri-implantitis is an inflammatory process that affects the hard and soft tissue surrounding an osseointegrated implant. Although there have been many treatments for this disease described in the literature, there has been no consensus on how to obtain the best result. This presentation will bring together two of the top clinicians in the field to describe their surgical techniques for the treatment of peri-implantitis. Detoxification strategies, methods of soft and hard tissue regeneration, and techniques to reduce probing depth and inflammation around an implant affected by peri-implantitis will be discussed.
