• Utilize modern minimally invasive approaches to increase efficacy and reduce morbidity in the application of periodontal regeneration to intrabony defects.
• Assess current studies involving the use of biologic agents, scaffolding matrices, and other growth promoting technologies that are under clinical development.
• Grasp the use of 3-D bioprinted scaffolds and cell therapies that have been introduced into the clinic for implant site development, sinus floor augmentation, and for the repair of larger alveolar bone defects.
