The session will focus on how to diagnose and treat periimplant diseases and suggests how the initial treatment planning can be done. Different non-surgical and surgical treatment options will be discussed and demonstrated. Implant explantment techniques will also be addressed.

Educational Objectives:

• Learn how to clinically diagnose peri-implant diseases.

• Anticipate expected results following non-surgical therapy and surgical therapy of peri-implant mucositis and periimplantitis.

• Review techniques used in managing peri-implant diseases, including non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment (either osseous or regenerative), and implant removal.
